Animated nature of Eastern Australia

Inspired by the nature of eastern Australia, this animated video shows a selection of the forest dwellers of the coastal areas. The audio is composed using elements of the song of the butcher bird.
This technique of nature music composition has been explored at the dotAtelier event space where the user can compose using the sounds of birds, insects, water and frogs. Rhythms and atmospheres emerge from this interactive Java application. With these techniques, the sounds of the butcher bird have been transformed into minimalist sounds between the world of the birds and the world of structured human music.
The visuals are animations of minimalist graphics also seen at the dotAtelier exhibition space.
